Introduction

OPUS Design Atelier is a Nepal based hardware product design and manufacturing company focused on developing manufacturable, production-ready products. We work across the full product development process, from concept and engineering to tooling and manufacturing.

Our focus is on plastic products, injection molding, and design for manufacturing. We design products that are not only functional and well engineered, but also efficient to manufacture at scale and optimized for tooling and production cost.

The Problem

Hardware product development is often expensive, slow, and fragmented. Design, engineering, tooling, and manufacturing are usually handled separately, which leads to delays, tooling changes, and increased cost.

Our Solution

We are also developing a modular mold system using standardized mold bases with interchangeable cavity inserts. Instead of building a completely new mold for every product, only the insert is customized.
